Sibling Sets — One Family Home, Multiple Keepsakes

When siblings divide an estate, some things cannot be split. The family home is one of them. A matching set of 3D printed house models means every sibling keeps a piece of it — the same house, the same memories, each in their own hands.

Why sibling sets work during estate transitions

Estate settlement creates real friction around shared memory. The dining table goes to one sibling. The artwork goes to another. But the house — the thing that most defined the family — typically belongs to no one, or to whoever buys it at market.

A sibling set of house models means:

  • Every sibling has a physical piece of the family home
  • No one debates who "gets" the memory of the house
  • Children and grandchildren see where the family came from
  • The model survives the family home itself — often by decades

How families typically order

There are two common patterns:

One sibling orders for everyone

The eldest sibling — or whoever is managing the estate — orders the models and handles distribution. We ship each model individually to different addresses, or all to one address for the organizing sibling to distribute. Each model is individually packaged and arrives ready to gift.

Each sibling orders independently

Siblings place individual orders, each choosing their own tier. We produce from the same base photo, so the house is consistent across all models. Siblings can choose different tiers based on their own budget and preference — one Heritage and two Essentials is a common combination.

Frequently asked questions

Do all siblings need to order from the same photo?

The same source photo is recommended so the house looks consistent across all models. If different siblings have different photos of the same house, we can usually reconcile them. Send us the best photo you have.

Can siblings order different tiers?

Yes. The house model is produced from the same design regardless of tier — the tier determines material, color, and finish. One sibling can receive an Architectural model while another receives Heritage. The houses will look the same; the quality and detail level will differ.

Can we ship to multiple addresses?

Yes. If you are ordering for siblings in different cities or countries (Canada and US), place individual orders with each shipping address. We ship to all Canadian provinces and all 50 US states.

Is there a discount for ordering multiple models?

Reach out through our contact page for multi-unit inquiries. We handle bulk and sibling-set orders regularly and will do our best to accommodate.

What if the estate is still in probate and the house hasn't sold yet?

Order now while the house is still accessible. You can take a fresh photo, and the model can be ready long before probate resolves. The model also makes a meaningful gift during what is often a difficult process for the whole family.
