Why choose us

Why local families choose Clear Cut

Every neighbourhood carries its own architectural identity. Our artists study the specific details of your home — not a generic template — and reproduce them faithfully.

Designed from your photos
No blueprints needed. Phone photos, Google Street View screenshots, or an old real-estate listing — whatever you have, it’s enough. Our artists work from what families actually keep.
Ships anywhere in Greater Toronto Area
Your model arrives in custom foam-lined packaging, fully insured through a tracked courier. We have shipped to every corner of Canada and across the United States without a single lost model.
Handcrafted by artists
No algorithm generates your model. A human being — someone who cares about getting the window trim right — designs it, approves it, and signs off before it prints. That is the only way we know how to do this.

How it works

Three steps. One model. A permanent record.

Send us your photos
Street-view screenshots, phone photos from a weekend visit, or an old real-estate listing — we work from whatever your family has. We’ll ask follow-up questions if we need more.
We design and build
Within 7–10 business days, our artists hand-model your home — layer by layer, detail by detail. You receive a photo proof before we ship. Nothing leaves without your sign-off.
It arrives at your door
Carefully foam-packed and fully insured through a tracked courier. No assembly required. Open the box and the house is simply there — smaller than memory, but just as real.

Questions

Common questions from Greater Toronto Area families

Same-country shipping, typically 1–3 business days after the 7–10 day build. No customs delays.
Yes. Our designers are experienced with Toronto heritage architecture — bay-and-gables, Annex semis, and Edwardian classics are common commissions.
Yes. We ship to all GTA and surrounding cities at the same domestic Canadian rate.
We can model the home as it is now, as it was originally, or both — let us know which version matters to you.
Yes — many of our customers are Canadians abroad commissioning models of childhood GTA homes. Same pricing, ships internationally.
Yes. We offer a landscaping add-on for $50 CAD that includes the front yard, hedges, signature trees, garden beds, and driveway as they appear in your reference photos. Landscaping transforms the model from an architectural piece into a full scene — the home in its setting, the way you remember it. Add it in your order notes or mention it when you send us your photos.
Yes. For $20 CAD we include a small laser-engraved brass-finish plaque that attaches to the base of the model. You can personalise it with the street address, the years the family lived there, or a short dedication — whatever the home means to your family. It is a small detail that makes the piece feel complete.
Yes. A solid wood display base ($50 CAD) elevates the model for shelves, mantles, and side tables. The base is finished in a warm walnut tone and raises the model slightly so it reads as an intentional display piece rather than something set down on a surface. Highly recommended for gifting — it arrives ready to unwrap and display.
